Traditional Cutting Boards
Not everyone needs a high-end chef’s board—but that doesn’t mean you should settle for plastic or something mass-produced overseas. These edge grain cutting boards are built from solid, kiln-dried hardwoods, sourced as locally as I can get them, and joined with care right here in my shop.
What you see is what you get: no stains, no dyes—just the natural colors of woods like walnut, maple, cherry, and oak. Each one is sanded smooth, finished in my own Board Butter—a food-safe blend of organic beeswax and mineral oil—and backed by a no-questions-asked lifetime guarantee. If anything ever goes wrong, I’ll make it right.
Want to keep your board looking its best for years? I’ve written up a Cutting Board Care and Maintenance guide to walk you through it.
I see these boards living in real kitchens—the kind with a crock pot on the counter and cast iron in the sink. They’re for the home cook, the busy mom, the homesteader feeding a family off the land. Not flashy, but beautiful. Not factory-made, but crafted with purpose.
You can even add a juice groove or engraving if you'd like—makes a great wedding, housewarming, or baptism gift. These boards are made to be used, shared, and passed on.
